the story behind

Originally the Diamondstick was designed to substitute needles in order to simplify vaccination in countries with poor health conditions, like Mozambique..

The idea was that needle-free xposure to medicine by dermabrasion could increase access and acceptance of mass vaccinations and treatments.

For populations with low education or reluctancy towards scholar medicine, a “skin abrasion device”, especially one that is also used for aesthetic purposes, might appear less harmful than an injection needle.

Simple application and without the need of health care professionals, dermabrasion based mass vaccinations might be the needed breakthrough to access more people, also in rural areas.

Thank you Dr. Gonzalez for your grandiose work, patience and scientific input. Your unconditional love towards every human being and inexhaustible energy to keep up best possible medical standards should be the goal for all medical stuff around the world.

Originated by Saint Teresa of Calcutta, the self-sacrificing lifestyle and the service these nuns perform for the most vulnerable, is unparalleled.
Especially young mothers are often reluctant to let their newborns treat by scholar medicine. Less invasive options might gain their trust.
